Plumbing Tool List - Best Tools - Part 2

This is a series looking into the best 21 tools for plumbers. From wrenches, to pipe work tools, to safety first tools.

Today, we are analyzing the wrenches section of our 21 tools. Concretely, we are looking into pipe basin wrenches.

What are basin wrenches? The purpose of a basin wrench is to help you loosen or tighten the mounting nut on your bathroom or kitchen sink.

It is designed to do one thing - to help you install or remove a faucet. Other wrenches and pliers are almost useless when it comes to this task.

This type of wrench has a pivoting gripping head that sits at the end of a long handle. To use it, apply lubricant to the mounting nut, adjust the wrench head, and then turning the nut.
